Alitsha Burden Born 1990 Alitsha has been skating since the age of 6. Amber Traill Born 1992 Started skating at age of 3 ½. First competition at the age of 6 and finished 1st. Member of Bowmanville FSC and DRSA since September 2003. Was on the 2005 & 2006 academic honour roll at school. When not skating she enjoys playing with her two cats Licorice and Chaplin. Anthony Furiano Born 1990 Anthony has been skating since he was 8 years old. In the beginning he just wanted to learn to skate but after witnessing some great singles and pair skating he knew he wanted to do the same. He became a member of Bowmanville/DRSA in the fall of 2006 and is coached by Tracy Tutton. Recent Achievements: 2004 All Ontario Championships Jr Silver Men Gold Medalist 2004 Received the Donald Jackson Award of Merit 2005 Junior Nationals, Quebec City Pre Novice Pairs 9th Place 2006 Ontario Winter Games Pre Novice Men 4th Place 2007 EOS Sectionals Novice Men 4th Place 2007 Eastern Challenge - Novice Men - 16th Place 2007 Passed Junior Singles Competitive Test 2008 - EOS Sectionals - Novice Men - 4th Place 2008 - Eastern Challenge - Novice Men - 15th Place Goals: Anthony has many aspirations he'd like to fulfill for the 2008/09 season and beyond. He has just began a new pair partnership with Rebecca Marcinek and is excited to begin the competitive season. He's working towards improving and gaining more triple jumps to be competitive in Junior Men this season. Anthony is hoping to qualify for Eastern Challenge and Nationals\Canadians this year in both Pairs and Singles. He also would like to get his Senior Competitive test and begin working toward his coaching certificate in near future.

Braedyn Tutton Born 1997 At the age of 4 Braedyn began skating with the Durham Region Skating Academy and the Bowmanville Figure Skating Club. She is coached by her Mom, Tracy Tutton, and her choreographer Myke Gillman . She has medalled at various Invitational Competitions as well as advancing on to the Ontario Trillium Cup Competition in March, 2005. Recent Achievements: 2004/05 Eastern Ontario Section Interclub (EOSIC) Braedyn placed 1st in her flight and 3rd in the final & advanced to the Ontario Trillium Cup. 2005 Ontario Trillium Cup - 5th place 2005 Braedyn's Eastern Ontario Jump Start program results, combined with her performances at EOSIC and All Ontario resulted in her being chosen for the EOS Talent ID seminar for up and coming under 10 year olds. Nov., 2006 - Eastern Ontario Sectionals - Pre-Juvenile Ladies - 4th 2006/07 - Braedyn was chosen by EOS to submit a video for the National Youth Talent Camp. Criteria was: that they must be recommended by EOS, show talent, be under 10 years old and able to land all of their double jumps and double/double combinations. Many videos were submitted to EOS, and only four were chosen to advance on to the next step. Braedyn's was one of the four, and her video is now submitted to Skate Canada. From there, only twenty skaters in all of Canada will be chosen to attend the National Youth Talent Camp in May, 2007 Goals: To work hard to skate my best at EOSIC this year. I really hope to place top 3 at EOSIC and advance on to the All Ontario Trillium Cup again.Achieve good marks in school and continue to improve and advance in figure skating.

Carly Morishita Born 1994 At the age of 4 - Began skating with the Durham Region Skating Academy and is coach by Tracy Tutton Recent Achievements: 2005 Sectionals Juvenile Pairs Champion (with Jonathan Mills) Advanced to the 2005 Junior Nationals 2005 EOS Sectionals Pre-Juvenile Ladies - Silver Medalist 2006 EOS Sectionals Juvenile Ladies Gold Medalist 2006 Junior Nationals in Moncton, New Brunswick 2005 Invited to Skate Canada's National Youth Talent Camp Only 20 skaters were chosen in all of Canada Goals: To place top 3 at Junior Nationals this year. Achieve good marks in school and continue to improve and excel in figure skating.

Erica Duncan Born 1990 Erica is an honours Grade 10 student at an Oshawa High School.She has been skating with BFSC/DRSA for the last 10 years and has been coached by Tracy Tutton and Myke Gillman for the last 5 years. Recent Accomplishments: 2005/6 Eastern Challenge Pre-Novice Ladies - 13th 2005/06 Eastern Ontario Sectionals Pre-Novice Ladies Silver Medalist 2004/05 Trillium Cup Pre-Novice Ladies - 8th 2004/05 Eastern Ontario Sectionals Pre-Novice Ladies - 6th 2003/2004 Trillium STARSkate Championships Sr. Bronze Ladies - Gold Medalist 2003/2004 EOSIC Sr. Bronze Ladies - Gold MedalistMember of the 2005 EOS Travel Team which went to the Quebec Summer Championships and was a Silver Medalist in Pre-Novice Ladies Long Program. Goals: Ericas goal this year is to qualify at Sectionals, Eastern Challenge and then go on to Jr. Nationals. As well, she hopes to complete all of her Gold Tests this year to aid in her long term skating goal of being able to coach part time.

Gordon Wegg Gordo started skating at age 4 and by the end of the season was asking for real figure skates so he could learn to jump on the ice like Kurt Browning. He started guest skating with DRSA 3 years ago and became a member of BFSC in 2005/06 season. Gordo is coached by Myke Gillman and is assisted by Tracy Tutton and Julia Hughes. Julianna Naccarato - Born 1996 Julianna started to skate at age 6 with the Bowmanville Figure Skating Club and The Durham Region Skating Academy. She is coached by Tracy Tutton. Julianna is a grade 5 student and works hard to balance school and skating Recent Achievements: 2005/06 Eastern Ontario Section Interclub (EOSIC) Preliminary Women Final- 4th 2006 Julianna was one of 24 skaters 10yr and under chosen to advance on to the Eastern Ontario Jump Start Talent ID seminar 2006 Eastern Ontario Sectionals, Pre Juvenile Women - 7th 2006/07 Eastern Ontario Section Interclub, Jr. Bronze Women - Silver medalist and advanced to the Trillium Starskate Championships Goals: To place in the top 3 at the Trillium Starskate Championships on March 10th in Waterloo. Jonathan Mills - Born 1989 Jonathan has trained with the Durham Region Skating Academy for the past four years and is coached by Myke Gillman. Jonathan lives in Port Hope and drives to Courtice everyday to train. Currently on the Eastern Ontario Elite Development Team. Competed this past summer in Boston for the Eastern Ontario Section where he placed 2nd in the Novice Mens event. Recent Achievements: 2005 Sectionals Pre Novice Mens Champion 2005 Sectionals Juvenile Pairs Champion with Carly Morishita 2005 Top 10 at Canadian Nationals Pre Novice Mens 2006 Sectional Novice Mens - Silver Medalist 2006 2006 Junior Canadians Moncton New Brunswick 11th Goals: He has passed his Senior Competitive Test and hopes to receive International Assignments through Skate Canada this year. He is working towards competing at the Canadians in the 2006/2007 season in Halifax.

Nicole (Nicki) Irvine - Born 1992 I started skating at 8 years old and knew right away that I was hooked. At the age of ten Tracy Tutton and Myke Gillman took me under their wing. I currently attend the School/Skate program at a local Courtice school. My favourite jumps are the Double Loop and Double Lutz, and I am currently working on my Doulble Axel and Triple Salchow. Rebecca Marcinek - Born 1993 Started figure skating at the age of 7. She has represented DRSA and Bowmanville F.S.C. at many competitions. Rebecca likes to hang out with her friends and shop or go to the movies in her spare time. She has 3 pets Chi-Chi a chinchilla, Bailey a dog and a fish named Angel. Recent Achievements: Member of the Eastern Ontario Travel team for the last 3 years. Advanced to All Ontario Trillium Starskate past 2 years. 2004/05 Eastern Ontario STARSkate Invitational Biathlon Gold Medalist (with Amber Traill) Her favourite competition was the 2004/05 HomeSense National STARSkate Championships in P.E.I. Silver Medalist Advanced to 2006 Ontario Winter Games in Barrie - 10th. Goals: Rebecca has set many goals in her skating from short term to long term. She knows how important it is to balance her school work and to work hard to be a competitive figure skater.

Shelby Lia - Born 1992 I am currently in Grade 8 at a School in Whitby where I am working hard to earn a school crest before I graduate this year. I have been figure skating with the Durham Region Skating Academy and the Bowmanville Figure Skating Club for almost five years, where my coaches are Tracy Tutton and Myke Gillman. Recent Accomplishments: By medalling at the Eastern Ontario Section Invitational Championships in 2004, I qualified to compete at the Trillium STARSkate Championships that same year. Facing competition from across the province, where the result was a fourth place finish. Goals: My immediate skating goal is to qualify to return to the Trillium STARSkate Championships, and to reach the podium this time around. Longer-term goals include improving my overall consistency, and reaching the National level of competition. I am looking forward to the challenge of competing inTriathlon skating events next season. My passion for competitive sports is shared between figure skating and fastball, as I am also a memberof the Whitby Eagles Major Novice RepresentativeFastball Team.
